Our Prices and Learning Environment

Our prices are fixed and are charged according to the time of a driving lesson which is usually 90 minutes and can exceed as per your demand. A wide range of different courses are offered by us for people in our driving academy with an aim to impart professional driving skills in people and reduce the risk of accidents on the road. The course structure is designed to meet specific needs of each individual. Our instructors teach according to the pace of every person. I truly enjoy the challenges that come with driving instruction and feel that many of my prior experiences make me incredibly suited to this profession. Not only was I an Elementary School Teacher, but I was also employed by ICBC as a Driver Examiner.

As an Examiner I conducted thousands of road tests and became familiar with the criteria that is used to assess individuals when they go for their road tests.

Subsequently, I was promoted to ICBC Examiner Trainer. I was part of a four-person team charged with training new Examiners and ensuring consistency amongst all Driver Examiners throughout the province. The position involved a lot of travel. I enjoyed working at ICBC, however after a while I felt it was time for me to start something of my own.

I decided to use my knowledge of road testing and became a Driving Instructor. As a Driving Instructor in the Lower Mainland, I had immense success with an exceptional pass rate. I ran my own Driving School (Britannia Driver Training) for a few years, until my family and I moved to the Okanagan.

Honour Roll Driving Academy is now here serving the Kelowna/Lake Country area. Personally, it is greatly important to me that we are equipping new drivers with the necessary skills to handle any challenges they may face on the road.
